Primary (Must-Have):
• E-commerce domain experience | Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento/Adobe Commerce, or SAP Commerce
• Operation experience / ITSM Methodologies | ITIL, Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management
• Cloud operations on GCP | Google Cloud Platform monitoring, cost control, performance tuning, and security
Secondary (Good to Have):
• Tooling Stack Expertise | ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, PagerDuty, Datadog, Splunk
• Leadership & Team Supervision | Managing and mentoring technical operations teams in high-availability environments
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to senior leadership within the digital commerce department, this role serves as the operational backbone between engineering, product, business stakeholders, and vendors. The E-commerce Operations & Support Manager will own the reliability, performance, and continuous evolution of our digital commerce ecosystem to eliminate friction and resolve critical production incidents.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own end-to-end operational health of e-commerce platforms | Storefront, checkout, OMS, product catalogue, payment gateways, and third-party integrations.
• Oversee Google Cloud Platform (GCP) operations | Ensuring reliability, cost optimization, performance, and security across all hosted commerce workloads.
• Lead L2 production support function | Triaging escalations from L1, owning resolution end-to-end, and ensuring clean handoffs to L3/engineering.
• Supervise and mentor the GCP operations team | Driving accountability, technical excellence, and adherence to SRE and cloud governance best practices.
• Define and enforce ITSM best practices | Managing incident, problem, change, and request management frameworks across commerce operations.
