Job Description

Position Overview:

Christoph Zeiss Partners is seeking a driven, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented Executive Search Analyst to join our New York City office. This is an exciting opportunity for a soon-to-be or recent college graduate interested in building a career at the intersection of financial services, talent, and business strategy.

As an Analyst, you will contribute to all stages of the executive search process, from developing market intelligence and identifying senior talent to preparing client materials and supporting candidate engagement. You will work closely with colleagues at all levels of the firm and collaborate across teams, gaining exposure to senior executives, leading financial institutions, and the strategic talent decisions shaping the industry.

The role offers meaningful opportunities to participate in client discussions, learn directly from experienced search professionals, and develop a strong understanding of the financial services landscape.

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, resourceful, and eager to take on increasing responsibility in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Analyst is expected to work in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive research on financial institutions, industry sectors, organizational structures, and senior executives to support executive search and advisory assignments.
  • Analyze industry trends, leadership changes, competitor activity, and other market developments to generate timely and actionable insights.
  • Synthesize information from multiple sources and translate complex findings into clear, concise, and commercially relevant conclusions.

Executive Search Support

  • Support executive search assignments throughout their lifecycle, from initial market analysis and search strategy through candidate assessment and client presentation.
  • Partner with senior team members to identify and assess executives whose experience aligns with each client’s strategic and organizational needs.
  • Prepare research and briefing materials for internal discussions, client meetings, and candidate interviews.
  • Track search activity and key developments to help teams remain organized, informed, and responsive throughout each assignment.

Client Materials & Business Development

  • Prepare high-quality status reports, candidate profiles, market maps, organizational analyses, and other materials for internal discussions and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams and levels of seniority to produce thoughtful, polished, and data-driven deliverables.
  • Support the development of business development presentations and strategic materials for prospective and existing clients.
  • Ensure that all work reflects the firm’s high standards for analytical rigor, accuracy, judgment, and presentation.

Knowledge & Information Management

  • Maintain accurate and current information on executives, clients, companies, and market developments within the firm’s database.
  • Capture and organize insights generated through research, search activity, and team discussions to strengthen the firm’s institutional knowledge.
  • Identify relevant relationships, emerging trends, and potential opportunities across the firm’s network and financial services coverage.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of information used to support client work and business decisions.

Key Qualifications

  • Soon-to-be or recent college graduate; candidates from all academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply, with coursework or demonstrated interest in finance, economics, business, or related fields considered a plus.
  • Exceptional research, analytical, and synthesis skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information, identify meaningful patterns, and draw well-supported conclusions.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in financial services, business strategy, leadership, and talent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, thoughtful, and high-quality work.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with the professionalism to work effectively with colleagues across teams and at all levels of the firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
